What is male factor infertility?
Male infertility refers to a man's inability to contribute to conception after trying for a year or more.
Male infertility can be caused by several factors, including low sperm count, poor sperm motility (movement), abnormal sperm shape, or blockages that prevent sperm delivery. Other factors like lifestyle, hormonal imbalances, or underlying health issues can also contribute. Diagnosis usually involves a semen analysis and sometimes further tests. Fortunately, many treatments are available depending on the cause.
