What does 'do not disturb' mean?
We believe that it is better for embryos not to be disturbed too often, and that we can wait until the blastocyst stage before assessing them.
With this in mind, once we have contacted you to update you regarding fertilisation on the day after your egg collection, we wont be disturbing or checking your embryos until the day of their planned transfer unless we need to. Patients wont get daily updates but we think this gives the embryos the best chance of developing to the blastocyst stage.
