      Is embryo donation anonymous?

      Embryo donation in the UK is not completely anonymous; children born from donated embryos can contact the donors when they turn 18.

      While the recipient of your donated embryos will not have access to your identity, UK law allows children conceived from donated embryos to request identifying information about the donors once they turn 18. This ensures transparency and the right to knowledge for donor-conceived individuals.
