I'm pregnant and have had some bleeding, what shall I do?
We completely understand how unnerving even the slightest bit of bleeding can be, however, in early pregnancy spotting is common and most of the time it's nothing to worry about.
If it is dark brown and is a light flow the likelihood is that it is a build-up of old lining that you no longer need, and is probably nothing to worry about. If it is pink and a light flow this is also probably nothing to worry about.
If it is heavy, red, and clotted get in touch with us. We may arrange an earlier scan if you are past 7 weeks or refer you to an early pregnancy unit of your choice. Please continue to take all the medications.
Please call or send us a message if you're still not sure.
